OVERHEAD BRIDGE CRANE

OVERHEAD BRIDGE CRANE: FAQ

IS AN OVERHEAD BRIDGE CRANE RIGHT?

A Bridge Crane consists of an assembled structure which spans between parallel rails or runway tracks, and is adapted to carry a suspended load horizontally along the runway. Bridge cranes can be top running or under-hung with single or double girder configurations. Bridge cranes can be mobilized via push trucks, geared, or motorized end trucks. They also incorporate hoists on trolleys to move the load laterally as well as vertically.
